the cr specification

Circle Redmont has long set the standard in structural glass.

Friday, June 19th, 2009

With the integration of glass into structural applications, no one size fits all. Each project that Circle Redmont accepts has varying dynamics that must be accounted for.

Our specification details that are typical for your type of project can be downloaded for your integration. We provide through-section cut details with callouts, required square foot loading and other critical information. Contact us for the appropriate detail for your project. We make it easy to integrate our core product offering.

Consider Circle Redmont glass pavers. Each is formed with our proprietary processes. Each resists up to 8,000 lbs per square inch and doesn’t break. That’s equivalent to two cars balanced on a pole on the center of the glass paver.

Consider Circle Redmont’s glass block and internal metal panel systems. With normal hand-laid glass block, there is only a 20% level of good bonding. Any level of bonding that is under 80% is substandard. With Circle Redmont’s prefabricated glass block and metal panels, the bonding strength levels are optimized to 100%.

With our factory-assembled glass and metal panels, the bottom glass block has the same compression as the top block. The load is evenly distributed across the metal framework.
